XP Solutions Companies

Micro Drainage was founded in Newbury, UK in 1983 and developed the first drainage design suite for the PC. Micro Drainage joined with XP Software to form XP Solutions in March 2008.

WinDes® is currently the industry-standard drainage design suite in the UK, while WinDap® is the first drainage area planning suite to incorporate full analysis and design of Combined Sewer Overflows.

All Micro Drainage products are backed by comprehensive technical support and training programmes, including engineering consultancy focusing on the application of the software.

XP Software, an XP Solutions company

XP Software is one of the longest established water resource software organisations in the world. Since 1974 we have maintained a tradition of excellence in the development, marketing and support of hydro-environmental software. XP Software joined with Micro Drainage to form XP Solutions in March 2008.

XP Software’s flagship package, xpswmm, is a world best practice package for modeling the generation of runoff and the transport of flows and pollutants, throughout drainage systems ranging from pipe drainage systems up to very large river systems.
